Dr. Hughart specializes in internal medicine at Memorial Clinical Associates.
After receiving her bachelor’s of science degree in Zoology at University of Oklahoma in 1976 she went on to get her medical degree from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1980. Dr. Hughart completed her internal medical residency at University of Texas of Houston in 1983. She is board certified, American Board of Internal Medicine.
During her time here at Memorial Clinical Associates she has become a member of the Harris County Medical Society and Voluntary Faculty of University of Texas Health Sciences Center Houston.
Dr. Hughart’s strong interest in various internal medical issues drives her to provide the best healthcare possible to her patients. She has a personal interest in general internal medicine, inpatient and outpatient. She brings a great deal to the MCA team regarding preventive medicine and health maintenance issues.
Her passion for health is a reflection of her own personal way of life and interests. She truly practices what she teaches and keeps a very active lifestyle. Dr. Hughart enjoys hiking, weight lifting, bicycling, rafting, water and snow skiing. Some of her hobbies include; gardening, reading, needlepoint and crochet. Dr. Hughart’s family; husband David, daughter Laura and son Lance, are members of Chapelwood United Methodist Church. She is not only an asset to the MCA family but also to her community. She volunteers her time with Spring Branch Schools, the Boy Scouts and at their local church.
