Dr. Leslie Tenaro is a medical and cosmetic dermatologist and a 12-year resident of Houston, Texas. Growing up, she witnessed first-hand the profound effects that a skin condition can have on someone’s social and professional life — it inspired Dr. Tenaro to become a dermatologist.
Before joining MCA Cosmetic Dermatology Center, Dr. Tenaro spent several years at Kelsey Seybold and another cosmetic dermatology clinic.
Dr. Tenaro also served in the United States Navy. After moving to Houston, she served in the Naval Reserve until retiring in 2004 with the rank of Captain. On active duty, she worked at the submarine base in Connecticut, a clinic in Hawaii, the Marine Corps base Camp Pendleton, and the Naval Hospital in San Diego. She has also served onboard a Naval ship.
Dr. Tenaro received her Bachelor's of Science, Master's of Science in Pharmacology and Doctorate of Medicine, all from Emory University in Atlanta. She completed her residency in dermatology in San Diego.
She and her husband, who live close to the MCA Dermatology Center office, are proficient ballroom and country/western dancers. They also love to travel. |
